came to give ya the thunder, gonna tear you asunder. now let the gambol begin, down, up, out and in. irresistible dance, heavy metal head trance. now do the batshit shimmy, here we go tantivy! down the road to nowhere, ain't slowing down, another dive, another town. gotta get to nowhere, where i don't wear no frown. here in this dive my sorrows drown. we got a long ways to go c'mon. came to give ya the boogie, until you cant stand still. sending back that woogie babe, give my aching spine a chill. down from the icy cold, over the drifted road. it's from the north we roll, to bring yous all da show. on the road to nowhere, ain't slowing down. these wild rides keeping me wound. in the middle of nowhere, no i cant wear no frown. here in this dive my sorrows drown, we've miles to go get in. c'mon and spark your crops, go on and shake your pops, c'mon and feel the bop, may the frenzy never stop. its ain't no master plan, runnin' across this land. been in a buncha bands, playing anywhere i can. down the road to nowhere, chasing that sound, wont find that feeling sitting 'round. cant wait to go there, where all our sorrows drown. here in this dive the thunder pounds.
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
